rihanna12Rihanna recently spoke out about the huge controversy between her and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. She was reported as saying that dealing with the media attention after being beat up in February by Chris Brown was humiliating. She went on to say that the situation wasn’t in vein because she now hopes to speak for young women who are afraid to talk openly about domestic violence.

The 21-year-old pop star/diva did an interview with Glamour magazine which was posted online Tuesday. The pop singer told Glamour that the police photo of her bruised face that was leaked to reporters added insult to injury.

Rihanna told interviewer that she went to bed and woke up to helicopters circling her house and reporters swarming her street. “I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears.”

Rihanna said she felt broken hearted, disappointed and taken advantage of, when she heard that the two officers under investigation for leaking her photo were women.

This is a good example of the power of the old mighty dollar at work. I’m sure that the officers weren’t looking at the big picture and the repercussions from their actions. At the end of the day they were blinded by a dollar sign.

Rihanna went on to say, that she felt as if people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, without realizing it was her life.

Rihanna said she didn’t realize how much her decisions affected people she didn’t know, like her many fans. She feels stronger, wiser and more aware now.

“Domestic violence is a big secret,” Rihanna said. “The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”

Chris Brown, 20, pleaded guilty to felony assault in June. He was sentenced to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling for the attack, in which he was accused of hitting, choking and biting Rihanna in a rented sports car.

TMZ published the photo of Rihanna’s bruised face less than two weeks after the beating, and the LAPD immediately launched an internal investigation of the leak.

chris-brown-apologizedAccording to a LAPD officer’s notes it took Chris Brown nine days to apologize to girlfriend Rihanna for allegedly beating and biting her. According to the report that was released on Thursday, Rihanna’s assistant received a text message from Chris Brown on February 17th apologizing for what he’d done and saying he was going to “get help.”

Some people in the legal field are saying that Rihanna should not be with Chris Brown, and that he needs more than help, he needs to be punished.

According to police reports, Brown not only “lost it” with Rihanna, but became enraged and psychotic. It’s pretty hard to imagine Rihanna, who only an hour before this happened had been the belle of Clive Davis’s Grammy ball, ducking and trying to protect her face as Chris Brown mercilessly beat her inside a car.

The initial assault was brought on by Rihanna objecting to Brown receiving a three page text message from a former lover. (Insider sources have told Jackin4Beats.com that Paris Hilton was the sender. However we still haven’t been able to confirm the statement.)

Brown didn’t care for Rihanna’s opinion, and tried to push her out of the car. When that didn’t work, Brown, according to Rihanna, “took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window, causing an approximate one inch raised circular contusion. He then started punching her with his right hand as he drove. “The assault caused [Rihanna’s] mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.”

As I mentioned in a recent interview I was going to reserve my opinion until all the facts were in. Well it would appear that the facts are in and I must say… I am extremely disappointed in Chris Brown, especially once I discovered that the assault continued, painfully, for some time until Rihanna was able to grab Chris’s car keys.

Like it or not, Rihanna is a role model for young people. If she decides not to testify against Chris Brown, and put him in jail, my question is, what type of statement is this making to young women around the world. Along with fame comes a since of responsibility. No self-respecting woman, superstar or not should tolerate such treatment. If Rihanna fails to do the right thing I feel that she should also be banned by radio and television stations.

This is a pivotal point for Rihanna and young women around the world.

rihanna-back-with-chrisI “KNOW” you weren’t surprised by this headline?!? According to People Magazine Chris Brown and Rihanna have reunited almost three weeks after the alleged beating.

“They’re together again. They care for each other,” says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Comb’s homes.

Adds the source: “While Chris Brown is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

A source close to the company told us that Chris Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago. “He called to wish her happy birthday.” The source went on to say, “The couple have reached out to each other, the reunion is mutual.”

chris-brown-beat-caseIt was just announced today that the first preliminary court date for Chris Brown has been set back due to lack of evidence. I guess the “accidently” leaked photos of Rihanna wasn’t proof enough.

The Los Angeles DA feels that they don’t yet have enough evidence on the Chris to get a conviction. According to my sources this is all just a technique leading up to (drum roll please) Chris Brown getting off, beating the rap, going free… I think you get the point.

Information has leaked form the LAPD that states that the entire case is built around a single photo of Rihanna and a bunch of theories. It is being said that Rihanna isn’t cooperating and will not say that Chris was the one that issued the apparent beating. Because of this there is only circumstantial evidence.

After receiving this information I can not say that I am at all surprised. In the United States justice is proportionately equal to the amount of money you have. If you don’t believe that think back to the O’Jay trial. Need I say more?

How do you feel about this situation? Do you think justice has been served?

chris20brown_rihannaJust as the jets were starting to cool on the Chris Brown Rihanna rumor mill someone throw gas back on the fire. Instantly fans were torn over who called 911. Chris Brown fans say that she was wrong for snitching, when in fact she didn’t call 911. Then the rumor mill was ignited once again when bloggers started saying that the alleged beating was because Rihanna gave Chris a herpes. As of the writing of this article that hasn’t been proven either.

As I woke up this morning and began to check the wire for the latest news, I was shocked to see that newspapers and bloggers where saying that Chris had beaten a pregnant Rihanna. I began to call some of my sources to see if there was any validity to these statements.

The only thing that even come close to commenting on the allegations was something released by Star Magazine. According to them they claim that Rihanna knew she was pregnant before the Chris Brown fight but she was hesitant to tell him because she thought he might react badly or get upset.

Hmmm, maybe she was right. Anyway the statement went on to say that Rihanna had been to see an ob-gyn at a LA hospital before the incident and was acting nervous, upset and fidgety’ during the meeting.

So let me make this clear. At this time there is no proof that Rihanna is actually pregnant.

STOP THE PRESSES!!! More information just came across the wire as I was sitting here typing this article. It would appear that even Oprah Winfrey had her two cents to throw in on her show last Friday. She addressed the TMZ.com leaked photograph of a beaten and bruised Rihanna.

Everyone that was on the show agreed that Chris Brown needed counseling. Then Oprah and her side kick Gayle stated that Chris Brown had a kind heart. The two went on talking about how wonderful of a guy Chris really was. Well it would appear that Oprah’s views starting lighting up the blog complaining about it.

As usual I want to hear your opinion on this Chris Brown, Rihanna soap opera.

chris_brown_rihanna02It was the photos posted on the Internet that did it. The photos apparently show the aftermath of a domestic disturbance between singer Chris Brown and girlfriend singer Rihanna.

After taking an on-line poll and fielding calls from listeners, Sacramento radio station KBMB 103.5 (“The Bomb”) has decided to take Brown’s music out of their rotation.

“I think the pictures were the game-changer,” said station music director Short-E. “Once those pictures got released, I think (the situation) really turned sensitive and that was the ultimate decision-maker.”

Short-E said while the decision was not easy to make, the station wanted to make sure it wasn’t sending the wrong message to its teenage audience by continuing to play Brown’s music.

“The Bomb” intends to let the situation play out before it decides whether or not to put Brown’s music back on the air.

Meanwhile, as we mentioned in another article Chris Brown has started taking anger management classes and has hired a PR firm to help repair his image.
