maseJust when you thought there was nothing going on in the world of hip hop here comes a former associate of Mase’s revealing all of his dirty laundry.

Mase’s former associate told the media that the rapper cannot be religious and participate in the genre of hip-hop. There are other artist that do just fine with there careers and keeping there faith with the man upstairs. The question of the day is what happens when a so-called pastor uses his congregation to help finance his music career?

In a recent interview, Mase’s former associate, Legacy The Jesus, breaks his silence about Mase and his alleged shady dealings (sounds like snitching to me.)

Legacy The Jesus also said during the interview that, on numerous occasions Mase would pull followers of the church into a “back room” and ask them for help in funding his music career as he gets his label situation worked out. Legacy also suggested that Mase was a false prophet often times preaching fidelity but being spotted in strip clubs with women on his lap.

I guess this explains why Mase has been ducking and dodging interviews. As far as him being worried about rebooting his music career I think it’s safe to say that he can hang that up. The day of shinny suits and corny rap lyrics are ALMOST gone. I guess it’s safe to say that the next time we hear Mase on a microphone he will be saying, “DO YOU WANT CHEESE ON THAT?”
